Apple has registered a patent for an App for its products that makes voice tuning technology hitherto only available in professional recording studios commonly available. Apparently it will enable the untrained singer to have their voice digitally re-tuned in order to produce acceptable solos for use in Karaoke, as well as provide automated guidance for those wishing to improve their vocal musicianship.
