Please take a look at Phil's website for further information and also for examples of his performances and compositions.

Phil is also the creator of Musically Fluent (http://www.musicallyfluent.com), a musical training website for those wishing to develop genuine fluency and unlock their natural musicianship.

As a pianist and singer Phil is available for the following engagements:

A wide variety of recital and concert work;
Session singing and piano/keyboard playing including programming (fluent sight-reader and improviser);
Weddings, parties and corporate functions (piano, voice or both);
Accompanying and coaching for recitals, examinations etc. - all instruments and styles - and repetiteur work for all genres of vocalist (additional languages - German, French and Italian).

As a teacher Phil's passion is to empower students musically and to unlock their expressive talents in ways that traditional methods of musical learning do not. He is happy to work with beginners to advanced students in a wide range of styles, including classical, jazz and pop improvisation. He also offers theory, composing, arranging and production tuition.

Phil Best posted a comment on the event Piano Preludes by Debussy, Bach, Rachmaninov, Chopin and Phil Best:
Louise, thanks for that. Yes, it went really well! The audience loved the programme and the way in which I played it. I had lots of applause and lovely feedback afterwards, so I went away feeling very inspired. Hope you are well, best wishes, Phil
